妥协 ~ Compromise

。。 姚子望”

Inspiration Phrase

不同世界的人,

就算是遇见了,也不会有结果,

就像人鱼公主。。。

放弃了她最引以为傲的美妙歌声,

却也只能在心爱的王子眼前,

化为无数个易碎的泡沫。

Yee Ping & Sin Huei's Wedding

Very long never write a new post already. Lately, been back to hometown for my cousin, Yee Ping's wedding. I had attended his bachelor party and the wedding reception at Holiday Inn, Melaka. I had taken a few photos and would like to share with all dropping by my blog.

The below are some decorations in the house that I found it inspirational to take. I didn't take much photos on the bridegroom and bride though as we have another professional photographer doing his job. The photos were up at my flickr.

Chef Valerie'S RISOTTO with SAFFRON

As I was strolling through the lanes of Jusco's food section, I came across the Western food lane. I remembered to stock up my fussilli and while going through all the brands and prices, my eyes caught up with packets of Risotto. With extreme curiosity, I bought a packet for trial. It was a lazy morning as usual - Thursday. I decided to cook the long bought Risotto that was lying on my dinning room table. As I open the packet, there were rice and yellowish powder which is covering parts of the rice.

With the instruction, i tried to add the water and poured half of the rice into the pan. The water started to simmer but it took quite some time for the risotto to be well cooked. As this was the first time I tried to cook Risotto, it was counted as a blessing that the Risotto was well cooked and the additional cheese sausages and eggs truly add the flavors of the Risotto to another level. Hehe... maybe got a bit exaggerate but it's really nice! It reminded me when Sis ordered the seafood Risotto in Amsterdam during our spring trip and it's snowing that time.

Food...

SRI ANANDA BAHWAN RESTAURANT @ Tanjung Bungah

Recently had tried a few new places during dinner. The first restaurant I wanted to share is Sri Ananda Bahwan Restaurant which is situated at Tanjung Bungah. This is an Indian restaurant with a wide variety of indian food from roti canai, dosai, nasi bryani to western food such as american breakfast and cream of mushroom. The environment was nice as well, with cosy little huts at the front of the restaurant and behind had larger huts which house several tables.

I get the pleasure to go to the restaurant with my best pals - Alisa and Shien Long. They saw a blog complemented this restaurant and truly the food we tried was superb. We tried some dishes like the Aloo Gobi (various vegetable with spices), Spicy Mutton (kind of forgotten the name), Tandoori Chicken (thumbs up! Not dry but juicy).

Alisa ordered a chicken dosai while Shien Long ordered the Chicken Nasi Bryani. The chicken dosai is any recommended dish as it has egg, chicken and some vege wrapped in a thin dosai. While Shien Long's chicken nasi bryani was ok only. I had the Potato Masala Dosai which is one of my favourite indian food as I'm a potato lover. Not forgetting the Mango Lassi that I ordered was as good as the one I had at Banana Leaf. It is slightly thicker if anyone loves very concentrated yogurt drink. :)

Pesta Bunga 2009 @ Botanical Garden

Yesterday went for a flower exhibition at Botanical Garden. Taken a few shots and below are a few of my favourite photos. The rest can be view from my flickr.

Shien long commented this pic as dramatic... I kind of agree with him. Didn't expect the picture to turn out this way though. A beautiful flower can really capture a girls heart easily.

Another bunch of lovely looking pinkish and purplish flowers

This is the flower that is my fav that day. Took several shots of this flower and can't really get bored in taking it as the petals are so beautiful and it sort of express a kind of energy. An energy which allows everyone to simply fall in love with it. A flower truly from heaven.

A nice pic of the orchid

A lovely clusters of yellow chrysanthemum

A dreamy feeling of fairy tale at the ancient tree

Sometimes really wonders how great mother nature is...

Hope you enjoy the post and feel free to leave your comments here or in flickr. Appreciate teachings on photography too. I'm still new and waiting to get a SLR to complete the mission. :)
