Macro adventure @ garden

Next target for the morning is to adventure into the garden to take macro shot for some flowers and search for insects which is hovering around the plants. It's another surprise and I manage to get some shot of the busy ants sipping on the honey among the flowers.

Macro adventure around home

Been excited to start my macro adventure at home after brought the lens for less than 48 hours. Some disappointment on my left wrist became more painful as it was twisted several days back. Now the poor fella is on wrist support hehe... But I still carefully take some picture without further hurting my wrist. Here are some result of my experiment. The theme of my home shot was to find different texture, different surfaces and everyday use tools to potray another side of it. I'd got the idea from Digital Photography on different ways to enjoy macro shooting through different environment. Enjoy them and give me some suggestion ya.

天天为了大众的要求，费尽了精力来满足所有的人，真的很累。。。
有时会想，大众会不会为了我而这样费心费力呢？
回想起，从大学到现在，我都是为大众而妥协，这样对吗？
妥协换来的是累、不谅解。。。

面对不一样的人，给的反应、答复，都不一样，
工作了，心情不在像以前那么的轻松，
当每天的包容与方便，渐渐变成了一种习惯，
就不会再有人决的庆幸、觉得幸福。。。
真的要消失了，才会感觉到那一份心意？
不时会想起，为何人与人之间，会有不同的遭遇，
有些人，一辈子是被身边的人爱着，保护着，
有些人，必须用一辈子的时间、精神来拥有爱和关心，
一个是生活常常被安排得妥妥当当的，
另一个是常常忙着帮别人安排得妥妥当当的，
顿时的情绪会不平衡的想了，
我呢？有没有一个人可以为我而想？关心我的呢？
总会想世界也是可以这样的残忍

My blog exceed 10K visiting rate!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the stats didn't get infected by virus and shoot up to 10K. Anyway, started my blog with the first post on June 19 2009. My Next Target...

My New Toy!!!!

Had been talking about getting a flash after several attempts of taking under low light showed the equivalent difficulty. Kelvin had suggested to get the Nissin Speedlite Di622 which is a third party flash that is affordable at our stage haha... It cost around RM430 compared to Nikon original flash of RM1.8K. The quality was known and suggested by a few of photography kaki that the flash was user friendly. I guess what left is the skill needed to control the lighting to get the right effect.

Night Photography

My adventure never ends one haha... during the 3 days holiday I really venture into places that I never think I'll go alone but I did. A good pat on my own shoulder for having such courage to head to Pulau Jerejak Jetty for a shoot at the jetty and Penang bridge. My 3 days was a relaxing one as I head up to some places for photo taking and later went back home to rest and later head out again. I kind of enjoy those flexibility in time where I can decide where to go next. But after that 3 days I indeed ran out of batt after that. Not my camera but my physical and mental haha. Here are some shots that I had taken. Before that I took some time off to starbucks for some photo editing as well as hanging out with my fav Ice Shaken Tea Lemonade. :)

Merdeka Weekend Escapade - Part 2

I guess I had been gone for quite sometime from this blog hehe... Sorry for that as I am quite tired after daily work and my weekend had been packed with a lot of rest, friends gathering and time to relax. My next stop from town was Tropical Spice Garden near Teluk Bahang. I finally see the wonders of sheer determination to bring such a lazy bum like me around Penang on a HOT HOT HOT day. My usual days were hanging around in mall or shut myself up at home in my room watching series and entertainment shows. I guess by indulging in the world of photography had whipped myself up to walk around more.

Ok, back to Tropical Spice Garden was really a great place for hanging out with friends, a good pat tor place for couples and wedding photography. The visit cost me RM17 inclusive of the entrance fee as well as the map of the garden. It is actually quite a big place and I got lost many times haha... Thanks to the confusing arrows on the ground and the map hehe. Maybe I'm too blur in looking the right direction. Anyone need the map, please let me know. I can borrow you and you can save some $$. I love the flowers, the ornaments as well as the spice trails that were available in the garden. After seeing all the mini things made me want to buy a macro lens... OMG.
